How can you lose what’s not yours

As I was given the news of company eliminating my position, for the first time I felt that it was not a big deal. Some mourned and labeled not having a job as a loss. What came to mind for me? It is only a loss if it were yours. If I were to philosophize and ponder on this thought, I would say this same thing about this body of mine as well. This soul took on this body as a garment and made itself think that the body was soul’s.
